The group, headed by Chairman JoeWilson, took advantage of the Munich Security Conference to lay a wreath and pause for a moment of remembrance at the International Memorial. Karl Freller, Director of the Bavarian Memorial Foundation, accompanied the U.S. Congress members on a guided tour. The participants were deeply touched by what they saw and learned. M A R C H Chair of the Foundation Council makes her inaugural visit On 4 March, Anna Stolz (Minis- ter of Education and Chair of the Foundation Council) and Christian Bernreiter (Minister for Housing, Building and Transport) visited the Dachau Memorial. During a guided tour of the memorial grounds, they had the chance to speak extensively with Dr Gabriele Hammermann and Karl Freller. This was followed by a private working session, where the state ministers were updated on the memorial’s major upcoming projects.
