IMPRESSIONS | ALBUM 2024 51 ©Emmi Heckel ©Bavarian Memorial Foundation A P R I L “The Return of the Names” On 11 April, a remembrance initiative called “The Return of the Names” was carried out by the Bavarian Broadcasting Cooperation (BR) with the support of Munich’s Depart- ment of Arts and Culture. The Bavarian Memorial Foundation and the Dachau Memorial were involved as project partners. A P R I L Dedication of the Ágnes-Rózsa-Weg On 19 April, a path located in close proximity to the memorial and information panels of the former Siemens-Schuckertwerke subcamp was officially named “Ágnes-Rózsa- Weg” in a ceremony jointly organ- ised by Bunter Tisch, the Alliance Against Right-Wing Extremism in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region, and the City of Nuremberg. The local traffic committee had passed a reso- lution to rename the path in October 2023. The Hungarian journalist and writer Ágnes Rózsa was once im- prisoned at the subcamp, where she was forced to work under the most brutal conditions.
