Since 1949, the museum has told the story of Jewish life in the 20th century – with a particular focus on the SecondWorldWar and the Holocaust. J U N E Symposium: “Remembrance Today – Testimony of Descendants” On 5 and 6 June, the Max Mann- heimer House in Dachau hosted a symposium on the roles and responsibilities of the descendants of victims of Nazi persecution. The discussions were framed by current socio-political debates on the “future of remembrance”. The event was supported by the Bavarian Memorial Foundation as a coopera- tion partner.
