The local memorial site was illuminated by striking light projections; the victims of the former Hersbruck subcamp were given back their names and faces. The project was supported by senior teacher Barbara Raub and pupils from the Paul Pfinzig Gymna- sium in Hersbruck. On 3 April 2025, a remarkable event entitled “Students Present Remembrance” was held in the school’s entrance hall to mark the 80th anniversary of the sub- camp’s liberation.
