On the eve of the act of remembrance, Finance Minister Albert Füracker welcomed guests to a state reception at the Max-Reger-Halle inWeiden, where portraits by photographer Renate Niebler were presented to survivors and their families. From 4 to 6 April 2025, a youth meeting under the motto “Boundless Hope – Courageous Action” brought together around 250 young people from the Evangelical Youth of Bavaria to mark the 80th anniversary of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s death. At the same time, other adolescents delved into the topic of remembrance during an international youth encounter.
