114 EXHIBITIONS dachau ©Dachau Memorial Memorial exhibitions Special exhibitions at the two concentration camp memorial sites are essential to fostering a vibrant culture of remem- brance. They make it possible to present new research findings, highlight a wide range of different perspectives and explore a large variety of topics. The memorial sites change their exhibition themes on a regular basis to ensure they remain relevant, appeal to diverse audiences and continuously create new opportunities for historical learning. The following section offers an overview of the exhibitions held at the Dachau Memorial and Flossenbürg Memorial between 2025 and 2020. Some of these exhibitions were designed as travelling exhibitions and were developed in cooperation with partner institutions. 2 0 2 2 – 2 0 2 6 ‘Dachau Trials’ Crimes, Proceedings, and Responsibility 29 April 2022 – 31 December 2026 This exhibition examines one of the most extensive bodies of legal proceedings addressing Nazi crimes, which has long remained in the shadow of the more famous Nuremberg Trials.
